- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a quantitative emphasis in areas such as mathematics, engineering, or computer science

The Team:
Global Markets Risk Analytics (GMRA) is part of Global Risk Analytics (GRA). It is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring counterparty credit risk and market risk models. GMRA also develops assessment tools to support regulatory, audit, and internal risk management needs for Global Markets.
This role sits within Process Engineering (PE) team, which focuses on execution of strategic projects across GMRA by providing technological tools and solutions for process improvement and modelling efficiency.
Role Description:
Quantitative developer within GMRA, the role is producing modelling, data and process solutions for a wide range of stakeholders in Risk, including
VaR analytics
Stress testing
Risk management explains
MI reporting
Responsibilities:
You are expected to interact with colleagues in GMRA, Model owners, data owners, Risk managers and Technology teams.
You must be delivery oriented to meet our stakeholders' requirements, including Regulators, Senior management, Audit, Model validation and Internal SMEs.
As a Quantitative developer within Global Risk, your responsibilities within the team will be to:Design and build of analytic solutions
Design and build of process components
Investigate and integrate data sourcing
Understand and improve existing or new processes
Understand and integrate Risk models
Work alongside experienced Quants and developers
Clearly communicate on outcomes to stakeholders and senior management
Contribute to and follow the team and Enterprise internal standards
Document requirements and deliverables
Plan delivery and releases with Technology
Deliver in line with the team priorities, GRA's strategy and stakeholders' requirements.
