The IS Business Partner role is an integral part of the technology & digital journey, providing key engagement, insight, and delivery across a multidimensional business systems portfolio.


The IS Business Partner, supporting the Solutions Delivery Manager team, will act as a primary-point-of-contact within the Global IS Shared Services Organisation, providing services to business partners and teams to ensure that the IS function is integral to driving business value.

This role can be based at either our Chiswick, Liverpool, or MDC (Ashby-de-la-Zouch) locations.

The role will follow a hybrid work pattern: 3 days on site and 2 days at home each week

What will this role achieve?


This role will report into a UK&I Solutions Delivery Manager and will be predominantly a UK Regional role however there may be occasion when assistance for Global initiatives is required given pladis operates a global shared service model.

You will be engaging across the business cross functionally, based on business demand.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Ensure that solutions meet corporate objectives, fulfil enduser requirements, and identify and resolve business requirements issues.
  • Assist in the creation of longterm strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality in conjunction with business systems users, department managers, clients, and other key partners.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for IS business solutions and accurate use.
  • Understand critical issue paths and stakeholder engagement; can operate in a multithreaded development environment
  • Analyses the risks and future impact of decisions
  • Collaborate with analysts, developers, and process owners in the testing of new solutions.
  • Work with Procurement to negotiate contracts and liaise with supplier for timely rectification of any problems or emergencies.
  • Governance supplier relationships and establish service level agreements with business systemsusers and provide oncall technical support for these users.
What do you need for this role?


Essential:

  • Demonstrable experiencing working within a business partner or IS supporting role covering core process functions including Procurement, Manufacturing / Supply Chain, Logistics, HR, Finance
  • Ability to handle IT Suppliers / Consultant relationships
  • Detailed ERP systems knowledge especially SAP and ideally JD Edwards, is a key attribute for this role
  • Good knowledge of any of the associate systems including S&OP, Procurement P2P, HR, Finance, Shopfloor/Manufacturing Execution Systems, Quality Management and Plant Maintenance systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate governance, process/standards controls and performancerelated concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in fast paced, highstress situations.
  • High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Adopt an analytical approach to problem solving, with a focus on managing tasks with appropriate urgency in a resultsoriented team environment
  • Manage multiple sophisticated programs and initiatives across interpersonal boundaries
  • Make decisions efficiently that contribute and are achieved in what can be tight time frames
  • Strong English language skills (written/oral)

  • Degree level qualification in technologyrelated field or equ
