    Mintel is looking for an enthusiastic and capable WordPress developer to join our established Digital Marketing team in the UK as a Software Engineer.

    The successful candidate will join a team responsible for new feature development, stability, performance and technical enhancement for our Digital Marketing capabilities.

    We are the world's leading market intelligence agency and technology underpins our success.

    We help our clients understand consumers and consumer markets and aspire to provide the market intelligence behind every great business decision.

    Our technology supports research, analysis, and operations work of Mintel staff and helps us to deliver data, insight and opinion in a compelling way to our clients across the globe.

    Mintel has ambition to grow its eCommerce business, including launching new stores, optimisations to improve traffic and future focus towards performance, maintenance and continual improvement.

    Join an established agile team that owns the eCommerce platform and other WordPress based websites.
    Develop features for our corporate websites and our eCommerce platform that continually improve customer experience.
    Participate in planning activities with the Product Owner and other stakeholders.
    Demo software to stakeholders and discuss feedback.
    Participate in testing and other quality assurance activities.
    Manage the deployment of new features to beta and live environments.
    Gain exposure to our full software stack, using primarily Open-Source software.
    Extensive experience in WordPress development.

    Web technologies:
    Wordpress/WooCommerce (multisite/multi-language), Apache, GIT, Tailwind CSS
    Docker, MySQL, Linux ( LAMP stack),
    CI/CD, Unit Testing, Marketo
    Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment and participate fully in agile software development processes.
    Experience developing, testing, deploying and supporting websites and ecommerce applications.
    Desired a good level of focus on the user experience and conversion rates.
    Culture that supports true collaboration whilst embracing remote working.
    Frequent social events, both within the department and across the company.
    Home Office allowance, as the working model will be a blend of home and office working.
