Position Overview:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students, fostering their love for learning and supporting their academic and personal development.
Working collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators, you will deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.
Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and resilience.
Assess student progress and attainment, providing regular feedback to support individual learning needs and inform future planning.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching approaches.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers, maintaining regular communication and involving families in their child's education journey.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably within a Year 2 setting.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, assessment frameworks, and best practices in primary education.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting the holistic development and well-being of every child.
