Description

A vacancy has arisen within our Supply Chain for a Perpetual Inventory Controller.

You will be responsible for managing all inventory control related activities including:

Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company maintains accurate stock at all times.
Stock checking frequently used products.
Conducting stock location checks daily and keeping and accurate record of all stock changes throughout the year.
Consulting with accounts department to control financial impacts with stock discrepancies.
The job role may include other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
Perform cyclic stock checks.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock are reviewed and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.

Person Specification:

Ideally possessing relevant background experience in stock inventory management
Have a detailed understanding of SAP and inventory control / management systems.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Possess excellent personal organisation and business administration skills.
Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively, using own initiative

- and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to
- detail and quality.
