Cover Supervisor

Flexible, Full-time, immediate start until the end of the academic year

Salary:
£100-£130 Per Day

About Us:

Key Responsibilities:

As a cover supervises the students and assists teachers during leaves and absences
Deliver preprepared lesson materials and instructions effectively, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
Ensures that all classes have an appropriate teacher and support in the management of teaching cover in sickness, courses, meetings, school trips
Support students with their learning by providing assistance and guidance as needed.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions between regular and cover lessons.
Assist with the preparation of students for upcoming exams, providing additional support and resources where necessary.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a secondary school environment, preferably as a cover supervisor or teaching assistant.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain order and discipline.
A passion for education and having the patients, commitment to supporting the academic development of young people.
Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment to get the work done properly.
