Description
The Peripheral Sites Care Group have an exciting opportunity to work within the Orthopaedic specialty as a Service Manager.
This will be a full time post of 37.5 hours per week spread across a 5 day service working on site.
Your role will be to support the services and work with varying levels of professional staff, supporting your Clinical Matrons, administrative, and medical staff, ensuring a smooth robust service.
It is imperative that the successful candidate has existing knowledge of RTT, and service development within a clinical speciality.The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
We are a teaching hospital in partnership with the University of Exeter Medical School, University of Plymouth School of Nursing and Midwifery, and Peninsula Dental School.
The Knowledge Spa on the Royal Cornwall Hospital site is the base for medical and nursing as well as ongoing education for health professions in clinical and non-clinical roles.
Keeping at the forefront of medical advances, we are continually developing our clinical services as well as our facilities and are committed to maximising the range of specialist care that can be offered locally.

Previous successful operational management experience gained within the Health sector
Experience of supporting transformational change within a complex organisation
Experience of supporting the translation of business strategy into operation delivery
Experience of supporting the management of operating budgets and delivering financial surplus
Experience of supporting leadership and performance management of teams and individuals
Understands the need to deliver short-term priorities and achieve long-term goals
