    Job summary

    The Peripheral Sites Care Group have an exciting opportunity to work within the Orthopaedic specialty as a Service Manager.

    This will be a full time post of hours per week spread across a 5 day service working on site.

    Main duties of the job

    Your role will be to support the services and work with varying levels of professional staff, supporting your Clinical Matrons, administrative, and medical staff, ensuring a smooth robust service.

    It is imperative that the successful candidate has existing knowledge of RTT, and service development within a clinical speciality.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualifications or experience

  • RTT knowledge
  • Previous management experience
  • Previous experience of managing budgets
  • Ability to quickly establish effective working relationships and develop strong team working
  • Well-developed interpersonal and facilitation skills with ability to gain and maintain credibility with senior clinicians
  • Highly effective presentation skills and the ability to present well-reasoned and structures argument orally and in writing
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT applications to support efficient work activity, including the analysis, interpretation and presentation of complex data
  • Ability to manage priorities in order to meet specific deadlines
