Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and informative Mathematics lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, ensuring thorough coverage of the curriculum and effective exam preparation.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to delve into complex mathematical concepts, theories, and practical applications.
Assess student progress through regular formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department and across other subjects to strengthen interdisciplinary connections and promote a holistic educational experience.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the Key Stage 3 (KS3) and/or Key Stage 4 (KS4) level.
Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
Exceptional organizational abilities and adeptness in managing classroom dynamics.
Flexibility and adaptability to cover extended absences and maintain continuity in students' learning journeys.
