Introduction


The Houses of Parliament Health & Wellbeing Service supports Parliament in developing a healthy working environment and encouraging people to have a positive attitude to health at work.

Its objectives are to help promote and maintain a high standard of physical and mental health for all persons working in the Houses of Parliament and to assist managers in reducing the risks to staff and visitors which may arise as a result of our work.


The role

Some of the responsibilities include:


  • C
o-ordination and delivery of events on annual wellbeing programme;

  • Production of campaign materials using excellent written communication skills and via a variety of software packages.
  • Work with stakeholders across the community and thirdparty providers to promote increased service engagement and to deliver key wellbeing initiatives
  • C
ollation of statistics and feedback, producing regular management information and data insights when required.

  • Updating health & wellbeing intranet content and media channels as required.

Skills and Experience

Criterion 1
Qualification or equivalent experience working in health/public health/health and wellbeing/health promotion or health and social care sector.


Criterion 2


Experience in successful delivery of health and wellbeing campaigns including delivering events to a diverse working population both in person and remotely.

Demonstration of ability to work collaboratively across an organisation and in a team setting.


Criterion 3

Excellent written and oral communication skills producing copy and communications via a variety of channels such as intranet, social media, yammer groups/blogs to promote health messaging.
