We are currently recruiting for Assistant Brand Manager on behalf of one of Britain's biggest listed food companies, employing over?4,000 colleagues at 15 manufacturing?sites and offices up and down the country.

This position is to be based at the Head Officein Hertfordshire and offers hybrid working.


Job Overview:

The brand footprint spans across Italian, British and Americancuisines and we continue innovating to keep the brand relevant for modern life.


We are looking for a passionate, experienced FMCG marketer, who will drive the brand growth and continue modernising the brand, bringing the brand purpose to life.

You will be a part of entrepreneurial talented team and work closely with R&D, Commercial,Insight & Innovation teams


What you'll be doing:


  • Accountable for the delivery of agreed profit, turnover, share and innovation targets for the brand in the UK
  • P&L responsibility
  • Support development of the 3year Brand Strategy and Annual Plan (to be led by Senior Brand Manager)
  • Contribute to the development of the Brand Innovation Strategy and plan (led by Innovation Controller and Senior Brand Manager)
  • Lead development and commercialisation of Innovation projects to create long term value
  • Manage development and execution (to time) the Brand Annual Plan and Budget
  • Work effectively with all functions and Leadership team to drive key decisions and execution across the business
  • Ongoing business analysis and search for opportunities to drive growth

What we need from you:


  • 12 years branded marketing management in commercially aware FMCG environment
  • Strong commercial skills and understanding of the Innovation development process
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Resultoriented, selfmotivated individual with a positive mindset
  • Hungry for winning and personal development
  • UK Market experience
  • Passion for food
