    Are you a proven leader with vast experience in procurement? Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a Group Head of Procurement to oversee their procurement strategy and advance their sustainability agenda.

    As a Group Head of Procurement, you will wield significant influence over a renowned business well-regarded for fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

    Your core responsibility will encompass guiding the procurement strategy and operations, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and developing the procurement function into a powerhouse of efficiency, sustainability, and value creation.

    Design, deliver and manage a strategic procurement operating model that aligns with the company's Sustainability Strategy.
    Develop and implement a Sustainable (Green) Procurement initiative supporting the company's goal of achieving net zero.
    Drive the identification and realisation of cost-saving opportunities with an optimised supplier database.
    Develop and oversee category strategies, and monitor supplier performance.
    Continually assess and manage potential risks associated with differing sourcing and contract strategies.

    Proven stakeholder and people management skills, with experience liaising with senior and executive employees
    Demonstrable success managing supplier and contractor relationships
    Strong negotiation skills and proficiency with modern sourcing and procurement systems
    Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, standard contractual terms and conditions, enterprise risk management and business continuity planning
