GMV is looking for a highly motivated AEROSPACEENGINEER, or equivalent, to work with the team for its activities in theareas of Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management(STM), including R&D tasks, software development and related engineeringand analysis activities.
GMV is a leading company in the space sector inparticular in SST and STM. GMV engineers use cutting-edge technologies todevelop the solutions of the future.
We are looking for engineers who bringnew ideas, new ways of working, and above all, passion for the challenges ofthe space sector. As an engineer, you will work on specific projects relatedto Space Surveillance and Tracking and Space Traffic Management withopportunities to switch teams, location and project as GMV grows and evolves.
SST and STM are becoming more and more relevant topics in the space sectordue to the need to manage the traffic of the population of objects orbitingthe Earth, both space debris and operational satellites, which is growing rapidlynowadays and is expected to increase even more dramatically due to the launchof mega-constellations.
We are expanding our teams in the Space Surveillance and Tracking and Space Traffic Management sector to take on exciting new projects.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In our team you will be integrated in GMV'sSST and STM multidisciplinary team located across several countries, withseveral projects currently on-going.
In particular, you will work within the UK team taking care of SST/STM activities at European leveland also in UK Space Agency, both for the operations and development of SSTsystems and the execution of R&D studies.
In our team you will focus on engineering and software development activities around orbit determination, object characterization, collision risk estimation, sensor data analysis, manoeuvre optimization, etc.
