    Job Description

    Essential Function


    •\tWholesale Manager assumes the responsibility of planning, implementing, and overseeing sales activities. A pivotal role in achieving the sales targets and generating revenue for the company. A strong passion for outdoor and fashion industry is essential.


    •\tBe willing to join the company events, and activations to build Snow Peak community internationally. Represent Snow Peak within the broader outdoor industry.


    •\tOrganize and manage the seasonal pre order sales book and Snow Peak's presence at tradeshows and sales events.

    Essential Responsibilities


    •\tSales forecasting/targets

    a.\tWork with the Managing Director to set realistic sales goals and strategies that promote steady growth.

    b.\tEstablish and maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

    c.\tStrategically analyze and formulate growth and new opportunities.

    d.\tSet clear, individual territory targets within the wholesale channel

    e.\tEnsure the proper tools and support are in place for our b2b customers to achieve the planned sell through, support and manage the broader events schedule and


    •\tManagement of the wholesale channel

    a.\tCommunicate goals and strategies to the team

    b.\tCommunicate and liaise with the Buying and Merchandise manger to update the OTS stock levels and

    c.\tEvaluation of performance and management of territory agents where appropriate, analyze performance and provide feedback and training support where appropriate.


    •\tDevelop strategic partnerships

    a.\tDetermining key partnerships in conjunction with the Managing Director and Head of Digital to develop partnerships, collaborations and mutual promotions


    •\tDevelop sales strategy

    a.\tWork with the GM and Head of Digital to implement the sales strategy including product focus, product launch, promotions, etc.

    b.\tDirect market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution.

    c.\tDevelop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and promotional strategy to produce highest possible long term market share.

    d.\tPrepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.


    •\tShop-in-Shops

    a.\tTargeting and negotiating with key accounts to partner on Shop-in-Shops

    b.\tDirecting the event team on shop-in-shop partnerships, strategy and goals.


    •\tTradeshows

    a.\tCoordinate/plan with sales team and agents, Snow Peaks attendance at and direct the marketing and setup for execution of Gear and Apparel tradeshows.

    b.\tSeek out new sales channels/tradeshows.

    Qualifications Education:

    A Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience.

    Experience:

    Minimum 5 years of related experience with progressive management experience.

    Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    •\tProven experience in a similar role within other high-end outdoor/fashion companies or proven success as Wholesale Manager.


    •\tBusiness Acumen


    •\tExperience with Sage or SAP (Preferred).


    •\tExperience working with distribution providers (3PLs) (Preferred).


    •\tStrong experience with Microsoft Office applications.


    •\tDetail oriented with commitment to delivering high quality results.


    •\tStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet objectives and deadlines.


    •\tUnderstanding of an outdoor lifestyle and trends in outdoor apparel and fashion
