Description

We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a prominent manufacturing company based in Kettlehill, Cupar. This exciting opportunity has become available due to a large expansion within the business.

The shifts are 4 on 4 off days and nights and the salary on offer is £40,000 - £44,000.OverviewAs part of this role, you'll be responsible for addressing reactive breakdowns, executing planned maintenance tasks, and contributing to exciting projects.

Other duties include:

Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.

Required Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
