- Provide support to the Energy Manager and work alongside our external Energy Broker to manage the rollout of the service to the business.
- Ensure timely receipt of energy data from third parties and internal sources and undertake specialist detailed and complex troubleshooting activities as necessary.
- Deliver new and enhanced energy reporting services to meet business requirements through robust business process analysis, data cleansing, configuration, testing and successful deployment.
- Support regulatory submissions for renewable generation annual performance reports.
- Project manage metering programmes to improve collection and accuracy of key data and implement business reporting requirements and delivery via our broker.
- Support regulatory submissions for renewable generation annual performance reports by managing the shared portal for energy contracts, data and energy audits.
- Provide operational teams with detailed knowledge of flexible electricity contracts and variable cost elements, e.g. with DSR, DUoS optimisation.
- Manage contract performance through agreed SLAs and provide contract administration support through Yorkshire Water procurement processes related to supplier qualification and contract workspace.?
- Experience of energy regulatory processes and working with energy suppliers, meter operators, DNO's.
- Project management experience such as Contract management, tenders, project management tools and administration experience.
- Highly proficient user of all MS Office Applications with excellent data cleansing, manipulation and report building skills using tools such as Excel, SQL and PowerBI
- Excellent organisational skills: the ability to manage and organise heavy workloads, prioritising relevant business needs. Meticulous record-keeping.

Role: Senior Energy Analyst

Location: Flexible hybrid working arrangement based at our Bradford/Leeds sites with an expectation that some time will be spent visiting other sites across the Yorkshire region occasionally.

The energy team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
The Senior Energy Analyst (Projects) will help deliver key energy management projects, data analysis services and contract management for the Energy Team to progress implementation of the Yorkshire Water energy strategy.
Working with industry third parties including our energy broker you will be instrumental in delivering energy objectives in the sphere of metering programmes helping the rollout of broker services throughout the company.
Using your understanding of energy industry regulation and practice, the Senior Energy Analyst will provide analytical skills, data handling expertise and energy industry knowledge to support a wide range of business objectives. The role will support the Energy Team in streamlining the collection, analysis and sharing of energy data reports relating to costs and usage of both consumed and generated energy across the Business.
