Clerk of Works/Customer Care - Development Team

Agile Hybrid Homeworking (office base Norwich)

Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday

£36,669 - £39,916 per annum (including car allowance)

Permanent Contract

About the role


This is an exciting new role at BHA, joining our Development Team to help deliver the highest quality homes as part of our new build development programme, together with ensuring the smooth delivery of the post completion defects process.


Working closely with colleagues from all areas of the business, as well as Contractors, you will ensure all areas of programme delivery, meet the organisations aspirations.

Other areas that you will be primarily responsible for are:

Monitoring the quality of all materials and work ensuring compliance with the building contract / development agreement and drawings / specifications and to support overall objectives of construction to time, cost and quality of the project

Carrying out Snagging and technical inspections to ensure completion to the required standards

About You


We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, is customer focussed and for someone that is passionate about ensuring excellent standards are achieved.

You will have a level of further education in a construction qualification.

You will also ideally have membership or affiliation to a suitable professional body.


Having a passion, knowledge and understanding of the social housing sector is also key to ensuring the service is delivered and lives up to our tenant's expectations.
