    Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders

    Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable established firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an experienced and driven Personal Tax Manager to the team in their Royston office.

    As a Personal Tax Manager you will form an integral part of the firm's tax offering and will work closely with the Partners.

    You will have responsibility for overseeing the management of a diverse portfolio of clients as well as taking control of the supervision of Tax staff which will see you reviewing their work and providing support and guidance to them as necessary.

    Preparing personal tax returns along with CGT calculations


    • There will also be an element of advisory work involved in the role, with you providing guidance and tax planning services to clients.

    The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working in a solely tax focused role and may be CTA Fully Qualified (or Part Qualified) or ATT Qualified.

    Preparing and reviewing self-assessments tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts and estates.
    Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
    Liaising with HMRC and other third parties to ensure the smooth handling of our clients' tax affairs.
    Providing ad hoc consultancy advice on a whole range of tax matters.
    Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment is essential
