To ensure ongoing expansion, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to join an existing team at Glasdon UK Limited.
If you have a genuine desire to succeed and wish to join a progressive company, with excellent career opportunities and benefits then look no furtherDay to day management and support within our busy Purchasing function including analysis of supply chain metrics; Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and process improvements to enhance supply chain capabilities to reduce the environmental impact across the supply chain
Develop supply chain contingency plans and implement supply chain risk management programs
Demand forecasting and inventory planning
Negotiate with suppliers, develop supplier relationships and manage supplier performance
Collaboration with the in-house supply chain (Research and Development, Product Design, QA and Sales)
About You:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or business-related field
Have a genuine interest in procurement practices
Strategic knowledge of supply chain management
Knowledge of the supply chain process
Be familiar with commercial computer systems
Valid UK Driving Licence (Essential)
