Our client, a growing and leading business currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Officer. With a a growing commercial department, they offer fantastic development and progression opportunities for commercial professionals.
The role holder will have the opportunity to lead the commercial negotiation of new business with both new and existing clients.
The role:
nIdentify the risks, liabilities and commitments of contractual agreements; ensure these are clearly understood and that the business fully appreciates any potential impact.nReviewing, drafting, updating and maintaining contract documentsnMonitoring and reporting performance and compliance against contractual obligations including commercial performance, financial management and contract managementnMonitoring customer satisfactionnWorking with the contract delivery teams to ensure that the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts.nReporting on progress of change requests and projectsnReviewing contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risknPreventing and resolving contractual disputesnAssuring adherence to Group Commercial PolicynSupporting the client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve the orders, profit and cash budget and overall management of the Client relationship.nSupport the delivery streams who are responsible for the delivery of projects and provide clear direction working with the client engagement team.
The person:
nExperience of working in a pre contract signature environment.nExperience of working closely with finance, operations and technical specialists.nSector experience is not essential.nExperience of negotiation with customer.nGood on both the legals and financials.
