The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:
Delivering of goods to convenience stores, using of tail lifts to ensure smooth delivery of stock.
Loading/unloading of vehicle using.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.
You may be required to spend the occasional night out a week (tax free allowance paid).
Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 2 Day Driver:
Must have a UK HGV Class 2 C Licence.
Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience of Tail Lifts is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Working to deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Good geographical knowledge.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
Why Gregory Distribution?
Basic Salary for Class 2 Day Driver from £34,669pa based on 48hpw. Over-time paid hourly.
Hours of work are Monday Friday, starting circa 04:00hrs.
