    Description

    We are currently looking for a Consultant/Specialist Dermatologist interested in a part time or full time role to join our team. The candidate should have a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligibility, must be Western qualified and have completed MRCP (UK). Candidates with experience in the UK, US and/or Europe will be preferred.

    The candidate must be comfortable working independently in a community oriented clinic and catering to the needs of adults and children.

    Job Duties

    Experience in the following areas is vital:

    • Manage patients with dermatological diseases after recording detailed histories, performing physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic investigations.
    • Specialize in treating dermatological conditions such as Acne, Acne Rosacea, Eczema, Psoriasis, Skin cancer – melanoma and non melanoma, Mole, wart, skin tag, cyst removal, Dermoscopy for suspected skin cancer, Cryosurgery, Keloid scars
    • Adeptly perform dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, skin smears, scrapings skin for fungus determination, inserting sutures and repairing lacerations and incising and draining abscesses.
    • Recognize life threatening dermatological emergencies.
    • Conduct and ordered diagnostic tests such as hematology & biochemistry investigations, x-rays, ultrasound, hormonal essays and microbiologic tests.
    • Advice patients on topics such as the need for annual dermatologic screenings, sun protection, skin cancer awareness and skin self-examinations.

    Job Requirements

    2 years work experience, must have Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligibility, must be Western qualified and have completed MRCP (UK). Candidates with experience in the UK, US and/or Europe will be preferred.
