Description
HH Construction are seeking a skilled and experienced van mechanic to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining & repairing our fleet of vehicles.
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of van mechanics, diagnostics, and repair techniques. Also, a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.Conduct inspections and diagnostics of vans to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks to ensure vans are in good condition.
Repair and replace van components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering etc.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on each van.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
Assist in maintaining an inventory of parts, tools, and equipment needed for efficient repairs.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and fleet managers to provide status updates on repairs and maintenance tasks.
formal technical training or certification in automotive mechanics is preferred.
Proven experience as a van mechanic, with a solid understanding of van systems and components.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and address mechanical issues.
Valid driver's license is required to move vans within the facility.
