    Social Media DesignerSALARY - UP TO 30,000Hybrid working – 2 days on site (Wednesday compulsory) OFFICES - SHOREDITCHMUST HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE Looking for a dynamic social media designer to join a growing content division.

    You will be responsible for creating social media content for clients - across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn as well as wider ad hoc graphics for the agency.

    The responsibilities of a social media designer include graphic design, planning and editing a range of stills and video, and supporting the social media team across content planning and scheduling.

    Responsibilities will also include management of the social media channels for both client and agency.

    To be successful as a social media designer, you should be highly self-motivated, creative, and possess solid knowledge of new trends and upgrades across TikTok and Instagram.


    Job Responsibilities:

    Design:

    Interpret and respond to briefs with design guidance and best practicesGenerate ideas, including being the driving force on their art direction and production visualisationConceptualise, create, design, visualise content for social media, eg.

    Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube and other social/digital platforms – both stills and video for TV entertainment content and for the agencyHave a keen eye for details and be able to maintain quality control of your workUpdate company website with latest videos, graphics and imagesEnsure that all the agency's digital touchpoints have a uniform visual languageSocial:
    Maintain excellent knowledge of social media platforms and stay abreast of platform updates, rules, limitations and best practices Keep up to date on industry news and trends, in order to implement these within your work Ability to understand and deliver on brand guidelines and social strategies in order to produce great workWork closely with the wider content team to create an engaging social calendarProduce reactive social posts with tight turnaroundsBe the lead for creating all design content for the agency's social channelsClients: Create visually engaging brand-boosting contentPresent work back to clients with confidence, clarity and passionBalance design solutions and boundary pushing work with deadlines and budgets Be responsive and solutions-focused to client feedbackTeam: Attend and contribute to team brainstorms Proactively develop ideas and visuals off the back of group discussionsPositive, can-do attitude
    Job Requirements:2+ years' experience of social media design and editing (either agency, in-house or self-employed)Degree in graphic or digital media design (beneficial but not essential)Proficient in Adobe CS, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro & InDesign with exceptional understanding of design process and implementationDesign, layout, typography and motion design skills essential Film and photography experience welcome Passionate about social and design Strong understanding of social media platforms - understanding of meme culture and ability to contribute original ideasAble to work proactively and reactively – spot trends, jump on cultural moments and come to clients with ideas before they come asking for them Ability to manage own time and ensure work is completed within given budget and timeframeFamiliar with creating content for Instagram ReelsExcellent communication skillsBe able to work effectively towards a deadlineBe able to consult with clients on strategies and general social media best practiceCreative-minded, with a keen eye for detail and passion for your craft – you will constantly push and develop work to go above and beyond for clients Experienced in working in a team to produce best in class creatives Confident in your ideas and able to present them with enthusiasm and coherency Solutions focused and optimistic A self-starter with great initiative
