Job summary
To provide and maintain the highest possible standards of nursing care within the Endoscopy Department.
Main duties of the job
We are a Centre for Excellence in diagnostic and cutting-edge therapeutic endoscopy, with ongoing research, development and expansion within our department. We have 6 procedure rooms, and provide additional support to theatres, ED and the Children's hospital.
We're looking for dynamic staff who want to work in a team that provides high-quality compassionate care, and can demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. We are happy to consider newly-qualified nurses as well as nurses without endoscopy experience but who are looking for a new clinical direction.
We can offer you a training program where you will be fully supported by our Clinical Education Team and other senior staff during for a 2 month supernumerary period, so you can reach your level of competence to work independently as an Endoscopy Nurse in diagnostics. There is also opportunities for development in therapeutic procedures.
