    £ Per Day Inside IR35

    Our client are leading the way in energy delivery and are currently looking for an Information Security Consultant to work with the Cyber Security Programme and Non-Cyber Programmes, ensuring that our clients projects are securely designed, implemented, and operated in line with legislative, regulatory, and business security requirements.

    To engage as one of several Information Security Specialists working within a range of Programmes, liaising with Project & Programme management, business stakeholders, architects, business analysts and suppliers, whilst working under regulatory conditions, to help to determine the security posture for our clients IT environment.

    You will possess technical security expertise coupled with a strong team focus, excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Security consultant supporting Cyber and non-Cyber projects
    • Providing guidance and input to business analysts, architects, and project managers to ensure solution designs and project deployments are aligned to security best practice and our clients policies and standards
    • Support projects through formal tender process, feasibilities phases, design phases, implementation, and validation phases, including risk assessments
    • Security Architecture and Design- Review of Design documents and standing member of Architecture Review Board and Technical Design Authority
    • Be the Security touchpoint for Business Analysts and PMO projects.
    • Produce in-flight project functional and non-functional security requirements and embed into existing processes.
    • Assist with creation of security artefacts for our next phase of maturity e.g. supplier assurance, exceptions process
    • Post-implementation / pre-go live auditing of initial requirements for cloud-based projects, checking agreed design proposals matched against delivered solutions.
    • Providing support across all Security Team functions and providing assistance as at when required for additional CISO tasking.

    • Network Operations Centre
    • Network Security Visibility
    • Web Proxy
    • Desirable experience in API Management / Security
    • Broad experience in Security Technologies

    Ideal candidate should have experience in utilities.
