- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice on a range of tax matters.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Review tax returns, computations, and other documentation prepared by junior staff.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for tax planning.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize client outcomes.
- Work closely with other departments within the firm to provide integrated solutions to clients' tax and financial needs.
- Represent clients in discussions with tax authorities and assist with tax audits and investigations when necessary.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations, with experience in both corporate and personal tax.
- Previous experience managing a team of tax professionals is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
