The Opportunity:


Arup requires a Geospatial Consultant to work within a multi-disciplinary team on a diverse range of engineering, energy and environmental projects.

As a highly motivated professional, your daily role will include:


Providing technical Geospatial coordination, support and delivery of outputs related to environmental, energy and infrastructure projects of various scales and types, working alongside existing Geospatial and other technical specialists.


  • You are experienced in the use of Geospatial Software on desktop, enterprise, and cloud & web hosted systems.
  • Demonstrable track record of implementing geospatial on projects (onshore and/or offshore), in a consulting environment
  • You are developing specialist Geospatial skills in areas appropriate to environment, energy and infrastructure domains.
  • Practical experience of data manipulation, using tools such as FME, and of scripting languages, such as python, including ArcPy.
  • Experience with conversion and handling of a variety of 2D & 3D spatial, CAD and survey data formats including GIS, Earth Observation, CAD, IFC, LiDAR (LAS), CSV, XML variants
