The Opportunity:
Arup requires a Geospatial Consultant to work within a multi-disciplinary team on a diverse range of engineering, energy and environmental projects.
Providing technical Geospatial coordination, support and delivery of outputs related to environmental, energy and infrastructure projects of various scales and types, working alongside existing Geospatial and other technical specialists.
- You are experienced in the use of Geospatial Software on desktop, enterprise, and cloud & web hosted systems.
- Demonstrable track record of implementing geospatial on projects (onshore and/or offshore), in a consulting environment
- You are developing specialist Geospatial skills in areas appropriate to environment, energy and infrastructure domains.
- Practical experience of data manipulation, using tools such as FME, and of scripting languages, such as python, including ArcPy.
- Experience with conversion and handling of a variety of 2D & 3D spatial, CAD and survey data formats including GIS, Earth Observation, CAD, IFC, LiDAR (LAS), CSV, XML variants
