Finance Manager

c£70,000 plus benefits

London, Hybrid

The client is an expanding technology enabled business, with divisions operating both B2B and B2C, selling professional services and solutions on a UK and International basis.

The business operations include Media, Property, a Fintech hub and two brokerages,and other digital portals.

As the business continues to expand, they need to bring in a recently qualified Accountant, reporting to and supporting the CFO, include a mix of financial analysis and reporting, and help oversee the running of the finance department.

Responsibilities include;

Producing and analysing MI and work with Business Heads explaining the figures and help to determine what actions to take.
Assist in overseeing the smooth running of the finance function.
Production of Monthly Management Accounts and Month end processing
Ownership of company bank accounts, Expense Management.
Using a Business Information Tool to respond to adhoc business requests and creating dashboards/reports.
Assist an external consultancy in the migration to new accounting software, driving the project internally across the business, liaising with IT team.
Identify ways to improve processes across the accounting & finance team
Working with Project Manager to submit R&D claim.
Detailed balance sheet review on a quarterly basis.
Liaising with auditors to ensure our annual audit runs smoothly.
Support of Back Office Team.
Ad hoc support.

The role requires a qualified ACA / ACCA / ACMA, with experience of producing MI and Management Accounts. You will need to have a keen interest in business and technology, and want to gain valuable experience.

You need to be highly organised, used to managingand prioritising a busy schedule, capable of working both in a team and independently, and be a good communicator.
