    As an International Service Technician you have the important task to assure that the cranes are always in good condition. Preventive maintenance and reparations will be part of your varied tasks. You search until you find the technical problem and solve it efficiently, respecting the safety rules and quality. A hands-on function that can offer technical challenges and variety in the work tasks.

    Due to a number of additional challenging projects, we are looking for an International Service Technician fascinated by big machines. Your job as a international service technician in a nutshell:

  • Maintenance and reparation of a cranes, vehicles, other materials based on the instructions of the Service Manager, the Sarens' procedures and the fabricant manual.
  • Troubleshooting; detecting with diagnostic technics/ systems and solving of technical problems of electronic, hydraulic and mechanical kind.
  • Provide technical support at external interventions
  • Inspecting and controlling of the current state of the vehicles and all the materials
  • Fill in the necessary documents (such as maintenance reports, work files...) and inform the Service Manager about malfunctions, anomalies, damages...
  • Apply at all time the safety rules and the SHEQ standards of Sarens.
    • In this position you will report to the Group Service manager and will work with others technicians, equipment engineers and operators.

    About you.

    We are looking for someone who is intrigued by technic and driven by technical solutions. A degree or long experience is an asset, but at Sarens we value much more the right mentality and the Sarens match. For that you should have a logical understanding, sense of responsibility and eye for safety, a do-it mentality, a flexible mindset and a outspoken interest in big machines, exceptional work and technic overall.
    The profile requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Auto mechanics, Electromechanics...) or an equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with maintenance or reparation on cranes, cars, agricultural vehicles is an asset
  • Fluent communication skills: English = excellent knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexible attitude towards tasks, working hour and location. You will work every day at a different place at different times.
