    With around 140 dedicated service professionals operating from five regional offices across the UK, our UKWWS team is the country's largest provider of inlet works support, giving critical support to wastewater treatment plant owners and operators 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    We are seeing exciting growth across the business and we are building an outstanding team.

    Being part of the M & N Electrical and Mechanical Services Ltd team of engineers servicing and repairing wastewater equipment for Water Utility companies in the UK.

    An apprentice trained or experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician with electrical experience maintaining industrial equipment including controls fault finding and ideally experience of the installation of production line equipment.

    Current valid driving license.

    You will be required to work away from home, which will require overnight stays, in accordance with business needs.

    You will also be expected to undertake overtime as required; Please note that all employees are expected to take their turn on the emergency cover rota thatentails being on call for a weekat a time including over a weekend or bank holiday every few months.

    Capable of working at heights from scaffold platforms, ladders or mechanical equipment.
    Undertake training and work as part of a confined space team (desirable).

    Must have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship and gained NVQ level 3/SVQ Level 3 electrical installation and Part One & Two City & Guilds or equivalent.

    Ideally 5 years' practical experience working on industrial electrical equipment.
    Control panel manufacture/ panel wiring and advantage (desirable).
    Commissioning and setting up of instrumentation and controls (desirable).
    Basic mechanical skills such as fitting bearings, seals and lubrication changes (desirable).
    Sound knowledge of Industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
    Ability to carry out site inspections and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
    Carry out fault finding down to Electrical component level.
    Repairing electrical equipment.
    ~ Installation, commissioning, setting up and testing of mechanical/electrical equipment and controls.
    ~ Break down cover on a rota basis.
    ~ Working in workshops as required at any of the Company locations.
    ~ Stripping and rebuilding machinery/ pumps/ heavy industrial equipment.
    ~ Planned preventative maintenance (Industrial equipment & pumps).
    ~ Carry out site inspections and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
