- Completing pre and post inspections of day-to-day responsive repairs, legal disrepairs, insurance claims, and damp and mould
- Investigating and handling tenant queries, requests, and complaints proactively
- Providing technical guidance to customers and colleagues
- Ensuring health and safety compliance for all remedial works
- Supervising day-to-day repairs efficiently
- Preparing specifications and documents following WCHG policies and procedures
- Supervising contractors to maintain work quality and meet standards and SLAs
- Collaborating with the team and engaging with stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years or more experience in day-to-day responsive repairs within social housing
- Experience in face-to-face customer interactions
- HNC/D in building studies or RICS qualifications are desirable
- Background in trade would be beneficial
- Desirable certifications include Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatments (CSRT) or certificated surveyor in timber and dampness in buildings (CSTDB) (Training Provided)

We are excited about the possibility of welcoming a new Property Surveyor to our team on a long-term basis.
Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of building construction and maintenance, backed by the following qualifications and experience:
The selected candidate without (CSRT) or (CSTDB) will receive free training to obtain these qualifications upon successfully completing their six-month probation period.
Prior experience as a Property Surveyor in a social housing setting is crucial, along with knowledge of current building and housing regulations. Proficiency in Schedule of rates is also important.
A valid UK driving license is required. We seek an individual with a customer-centric approach, strong IT skills, and adept problem-solving abilities.
