    Description

    A new vacancy has just come in for a Full-Time Optometrist to join an established and constantly growing franchise practice in a prime high-street location in Beaconsfield. Fantastic place to work with a strong team of professionals who have all been in this practice for many years.

    This practice is well-established and has a great reputation as well as a loyal patient base. They have 2-test rooms, fully equipped and run 30-minute clinics. The practice has an updated and modern look keeping with modern day standards and are now recruiting for an experienced Optometrist.
    Optometrist Position
    The practice is well equipped and provides the ideal environment in which the people at the heart of the business can continually learn and develop their skills to reach their full potential.

    • Up to £65,000 basic
    • Sociable working hours – 9-5:30 closed on Sundays or Bank Holidays
    • 30-minute testing with pre-screening done by support staff
    • Modern looking practice with up to date equipment
    Responsibilities of the Optometrist
    You will be responsible for delivering the best possible care to all their patients and work closely as part of a small team. The company's goal is to deliver outstanding patient care, combined with sound dispensing advice and product recommendations that best suit individual customer needs. In addition, they aim to provide both their colleagues and customers with an overall excellent environment.
    You will be responsible for contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge to conduct a thorough sight test offering your expert opinion and making recommendations. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team.
    Requirements of the Optometrist
    To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will have a patient-centred approach along with the ability to work well in a team. Additionally, you will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, commercial awareness and clinical expertise.
    Compensation for the Optometrist
    For your expertise, a competitive basic salary of up to £65,000 is on offer along with additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
