- Leadand manage the music department providing guidance and support to ateam of music teachers
- Develop and implement acomprehensive and innovative music curriculum that aligns withnational standards and educationalrequirements
- Plan and deliver inspiring andengaging music lessons to students of various abilities and agegroups
- Nurture and develop musical talent amongstudents providing opportunities for performances andcompetitions
- Organize and coordinate musicevents such as concerts recitals and festivals showcasing thetalents of our students
- Collaborate with otherdepartments to integrate music across the curriculum and supportcrossdisciplinary learning
- Stay current withdevelopments and advancements in music education incorporating newteaching techniques technologies and trends into theprogram
- Advanceddegree in Music Music Education or a relatedfield
- Previous experience in a leadership rolewithin a music department or similarsetting
- Proven track record of deliveringexceptional music education and fostering studentachievement
- Extensive knowledge of music theoryhistory and practical skills
- Strong leadershipand management abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate ateam
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to collaborate effectively with studentsteachers parents and stakeholders
- Uptodateknowledge of industry standards and educational requirementsincluding national curriculum guidelines for musiceducation
- Passion for music and a commitment toproviding outstanding musiceducation
