Do you have a genuine interest for helping pupils improve their behavioural skills? Currently, GSL Education is seeking a Behaviour Mentor who will be able to work in vibrant secondary schools in Croydon .
Behaviour mentors play a vital role in providing a secure and supportive learning environment for pupils.Students with behavioural problems might significantly benefit from having an involved and supportive adult in their lives provided they receive the appropriate guidance.
Build trusting relationships with students who struggle with behaviour by providing them with specialized assistance.Collaborate with educators and other staff members to address each child's unique needs. As they strive to develop a positive attitude toward learning, students need your encouragement and assistance.
Participate in the development and implementation of behavioural intervention programs.
As children get older, use creative and interesting teaching techniques to help them develop positive emotional and behavioural traits.
A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, counselling, or a related field. Obtaining a master's degree is advised.Having a certification in behaviour analysis or a related field (RCB, BCBA) is beneficial.
A thorough understanding of behavioural theories, applied behaviour analysis, and behaviour modification strategies.
The ability to collect, analyse, and interpret behavioural data.
Tolerance, sensitivity, empathy, and positivity when helping people who have behavioural problems.
