- Collaborate with stakeholders to secure new business and maintain current contracts through re-tenders and renewals
- Identify relevant tender opportunities, including monitoring OJEU regulated portals independently
- Create and present Bid / No Bid summaries for review by the Senior Leadership Team
- Complete all necessary Supplier Questionnaires (ASQs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)
- Lead the completion of Invitation to Tender (ITT) and Request for Proposal (RFPs), coordinating team efforts
- Produce quality written responses with a focus on winning work
- Implement Company Pricing Policies or tailor pricing matrices as needed for bid responses
- Coordinate inputs from various teams to finalize bids, such as Estimating and Sales
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of bids through print, email, or portals
- Participate in site visits, external interviews, and presentations as necessary
- Collect feedback on bid performance post-award / loss to refine future bids and spot new opportunities
- Conduct Pre-Contract Briefings for the Operations team and handover to the Sales Consultant for account management
- Highlight key messages and unique selling points for proposals, incorporating lessons learned into a 'Bid Library'
- Promote bid best practices within the Company and industry
- Provide detailed activity reports to your supervisor regularly
- Contribute to enhancing the Bid Department's operations and success rate
- Execute all responsibilities accurately within specified deadlines
- Prior Bid Writing experience
- Preferably a background in fire safety
- Quick learning abilities
- Experience in commercial, tender, business development, sales, or marketing roles
- Proficiency in people and team management with leadership skills
- Strong writing and administrative capabilities
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite

Position Summary: Join us as a Senior Bid Writer, a pivotal role in winning new business and ensuring the continuity of existing maintenance contracts.
