    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION



    Objective:
    • To oversee the efficient receipt, storage, movement, and control of all materials supporting the business
    • To collaborate with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, client, and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure materials and equipment are managed according to company procedures
    • To ensure visibility of material readiness and plan shipments accurately using system tools
    • Processing requisitions and supporting the offshore team

    RESPONSIBILITIES



    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the successful material delivery and logistics activities including:
    • Allocation, control, and marshalling of materials between work locations and suppliers based on project requirements
    • Producing shipping documents for material movements
    • Updating procurement system promptly with goods receipts and shipping documentation
    • Warehouse materials handling tasks like OS&D checks and preparation for shipping
    • Identifying materials shortages and surplus through system interrogation
    • Requisitioning and controlling small equipment and consumables
    • Producing Materials Status reports
    • Coordinating material supply and delivery of fabrication items
    • Ensuring equipment preservation and maintenance
    • Attending Project Progress Meetings and Purchase Order Pre-Production Meetings
    • Collaborating with project personnel, client representatives, and suppliers to resolve supply issues
    • Conducting activities in alignment with project schedules, budgets, and procedures
    • Promoting and ensuring safe working practices
    • Adhering to the Wood Supply Chain Code of Conduct
    • Updating project status reports and notifying delays to management
    • Carrying out activities as per the Wood Financial Management Framework

    QUALIFICATIONS



    Qualifications:
    • ISCED Level 3 qualification
    • Dangerous Goods by Sea & Air certification (role specific)
    Knowledge, skills, and experience:
    • Experience in materials/logistics
    • Work experience providing exposure to material control and logistics concepts
    • Proficiency in ERPs like Maximo, Oracle, SAP
    • Competency in Microsoft Office tools

    • Problem-solving abilities and adaptability
    Ability to:
    • Coordinate and prioritize activities
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines
