    Band 5 Staff Nurse - Cardiac ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
    Great Ormond Street Hospital
    5 hours / 12 hour shifts (07:4- 20:15 and 19:4- 08:15)

    Salary:

    Between £34,089 - £41,498 per annum inclusive (depending on experience)Are you looking to join a friendly and highly skilled team that is dedicated to providing the highest levels of care for children and young people? We are looking for NMC-registered nurses to join Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) to work in their well-established team within the Heart and Lung Directorate.

    Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (Flamingo Ward) is a 21 bedded ward that specialises in providing care for children up to 18 years old with conditions involving the heart, lungs and airways.

    The unit is also responsible for the care of children on extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).

    The Flamingo team is a multidisciplinary team which includes intensive care doctors and nurses, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, ventilator technicians, physiotherapists and pharmacists.

    Additionally, we'll give you access to a planned developmental roadmap to help you advance from Band 5 to Band 6.

    NMC Registration (Child or Adult)
    Relevant nursing qualification
    Experience of working within an ICU environment is desirable
    Computer literate
