    Description

    An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a top Facilities Management company in Durham and Teesside areas.

    The ideal candidate should have a solid electrical background and possess qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, along with the 18th edition as a minimum requirement.

    As part of a team working on various retail sites in the region, the role involves a variety of building maintenance tasks, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
    Duties:

    • Assist other technicians with major and minor maintenance tasks.
    • Ensure completion of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timelines, along with accurate paperwork completion.
    • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair tasks within set deadlines.
    • Maintain availability and serviceability of all tools and equipment required for minor maintenance and repairs.
    • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM, technicians may need to work at other sites within the cluster as necessary.
    • Collaborate with company and client team members to uphold quality standards consistently.
    • Portray a professional image for the company and establish good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Execute all duties in alignment with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Accurately monitor and update the Mercury system to ensure real-time job updates from the technician and team.

    Qualifications
    NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / maintenance
    Or equivalent recognized apprenticeship
    18th Edition

    Base Salary - £36,667 + standby payments of £2460 per year (£39,127 total)
