- Attend and carry out planned and reactive tasks across the contract estate of schools.
- Attend all jobs issued which may include non-electrical tasks such as door repairs and basic wall repairs for which you have the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake.
- Comply at all times to contract Access to Work protocols and company Health & Safety requirements.
- Electrical tasks could include finding and repairing of faults, replacing sockets and other electrical components, wiring new circuits, testing new circuits, small dado trucking installs, light fitting replacement, LED swap out, fault finding heating issues, and occasional works using a MEWP at high level.
- Undertake all tasks as directed by the Management team and Helpdesk.
- All work must be in accordance with GTFM, client and site policies and contract procedures.
- You must be able to use a portable electronic device (Phone/ Tablet) to receive and update all tasks in a timely manner and with contract SLA's.
- As well as working core hours you will be required to be part of an On Call rota.
- All work must be done to current legislative standards and best industry standard.
- The operative will be required to act in a courteous and respectful manor when working for Galliford Try.
- Attend Tool-Box-Talks, training and meetings as directed by management.
- FM experience in a healthcare or educational setting is desirable
- You must have a clean driving licence to be considered for this role

An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management Business.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Gateshead area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
