    Head Veterinary Nurse - Modern Facilities - Washington

    0 Applications Location: Tyne and Wear

    We are seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to work alongside an experienced leadership team.

    The practice is a well-equipped clinic. It boasts dedicated wards, a large waiting room with segregated cat and dog areas. A spacious preparation area with a separate imaging suite.

    Modern equipment includes digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, physiotherapy laser, and in house haematology and biochemistry machines.

    There is a close knit team of dedicated and passionate Vets, Nurses and Receptionists.

    You will be responsible for:

    Managing the performance of the practice on a day-to-day basis

    Ensuring all team members provide quality care to all clients and their pets.

    Ensurin compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures

    Ensuring all members of the nursing staff are aware of their roles and job description, working to clear objectives set

    Carrying out regular performance reviews and update training requirements where necessary

    Supporting Clinical Coaches with the planning of student tutorials and training where necessary

    Rota management to always provide adequate cover of staff within the practice

    Maintaining patients' medical records
