    Description

At Places for People, we recruit individuals, not just numbers. If you're interested in one of our job opportunities, feel free to apply - you might be the perfect match we're seeking. While experience and a proven track record are crucial, we prioritize hiring individuals who embody our People Promises. We value those who act with integrity, show enthusiasm and a drive for personal growth, believe in fostering a sense of community, demonstrate respect, and take pleasure in their work. As the foremost Social Enterprise in the UK, we are committed to cultivating inclusive and thriving communities for both our clients and staff.

    Details about the Role

As a mobile Customer Service Technician, your main responsibility will be to carry out a wide range of top-notch remedial work for homeowners at our locations in Scotland. You'll be attending arranged appointments to address customer issues and complete tasks to address any concerns they may have.

The maintenance tasks you'll handle will be diverse and may include basic carpentry and plumbing, plastering, brickwork, paving, painting, and some roofing. Your role will involve performing general maintenance work to a high standard to meet customer expectations and boost our reputation.

    About You

You should have prior experience in a maintenance position, with a focus on possessing a versatile set of skills across multiple trades, including dry-lining, painting, tiling, and carpentry. We are looking for someone who is organized and systematic, enjoys having a clear workload in advance, yet can also adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Ideally, you should have experience working independently, traveling to various sites, and feel comfortable with this arrangement - a company van will be provided.

You should be able to demonstrate during the interview solid knowledge of best practices in workplace health and safety, as well as a positive attitude and a dedication to delivering exceptional and friendly customer service while you work.

    Employee Benefits

As a large, diverse, and forward-thinking company, we offer job stability and ample challenges to keep you engaged. Our environment allows individuals to thrive, improve themselves, and collaborate with inspiring colleagues and clients within fantastic communities.

We understand there's always room to enhance your experience, which is why we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to help employees save money or simplify their lives a little. This package may include:

    • Annual bonus
    • Company van
    • 35 days of holiday
