If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.
The scale and level of instructions have always warranted a clear demarcation and a level of specialism to meet the complexity of instructions.
The insolvency team are really specialists in their field and have held strong relationships with both bank clients and restructuring and insolvency specialists among the market's leading accountancy firms.
This role arises at or around 5-8 years PQE so, realistically, someone with a fairly significant grounding in good quality contentious insolvency work.
It isn't to say that someone with a mix of experience couldn't be attractive but there would have to be a very clear determination to focus on contentious work.
As part of the role will also be in mentoring juniors in the team it is essential that the technical experience is there.
For those already working in this area, you can expect litigation across all levels of antecedent transactions alongside providing key advice to directors, cross jurisdictional recovery work as well as bank led recoveries.
This is one of the UK's leading teams and has been for a long time.
