    Description

    Finance Assistant

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    ·Create, send and follow-up on invoices; and upload to customer portals as required.

    ·Process and assist in the preparation of financial statements using accounting principles and techniques; ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required.

    ·Collect and analyse data for reporting.

    ·Support requests for year-end audit.

    ·Report discrepancies.

    ·Prepare payments for employee expenses.

    ·Suggest improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and assist in reducing costs.

    ·Input purchase ledger overhead costs, credit card and expenses etc to SAP B1 accounting system.

    ·Bank Reconciliations

    ·Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management.

    ·Finance/Accounting Training or qualification to AAT level 3.

    ·1+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role with a strong understanding of finance systems and processes.

    ·Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook and accounting software

    ·Strong data entry skills.

    ·Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.

    ·Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality standards.

    ·Able to act proactively and with limited direct supervision.

    ·Ability to organise, multi- task, prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently.

    ·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    ·Highly detail oriented.

    ·Logical problem solver, who can use their own initiative when faced with challenges.

    ·Highly motivated and flexible, able to work in a team and individually.
