    Description

    Veterinary Nurse Position in Durham

    An exciting opportunity has become available at our small animal practice in Durham for a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team full-time.

    • Work in a brand-new, modern facility with unlimited CPD budget.
    • Enjoy social activities like annual garden parties and nurse-led outings.
    • Join a team of 5 vets, 6 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 1 ACA.
    • Day-to-day operations involve 3 vets on duty - 2 consulting and 1 performing surgeries.

    We are seeking a nurse with fresh ideas, ideally with certifications in various areas like anaesthesia, exotics, feline-friendly nursing, ECC, or nutrition.

    This role includes a rotating schedule with Saturday shifts every 4/5 weeks, with no out-of-hours work.


    About You:

    Looking for someone with significant veterinary nursing experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit.

    Must have a systematic approach, good planning, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for animal welfare.
