    Registered Veterinary Nurse - Durham - Up to £30,000

    Are you looking to enhance your expertise in Schedule 3 procedures? Do you desire a workplace with an ample CPD budget in a modern facility? An exciting opportunity is available at our small animal practice for a proficient Registered Veterinary Nurse to become part of our welcoming, skilled team full-time.

    Our practice is located in a state-of-the-art building with all the necessary amenities. Our fantastic team enjoys social activities such as annual garden parties, access to a chalet in the French Alps, and nurse-led outings. We even commemorate your birthday with cake! We prioritize work-life balance, with a team comprising of 5 vets, 6 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 1 ACA. Every day, we have 3 vets on duty - 2 in consultations and 1 conducting surgeries.

    We are seeking a nurse who is enthusiastic about introducing innovative concepts to our expanding team. Preferred candidates may possess certifications in anaesthesia, exotics, feline-friendly nursing, ECC, or nutrition. Moreover, our vets are actively pursuing qualifications in surgery and hold expertise in orthopaedics.

    This full-time role entails a rotational schedule, working 1 in 4/5 Saturdays alongside another RVN, with no out-of-hours work.


    About You:

    You should hold significant veterinary nursing experience, exceptional customer service, and communication abilities, and be an efficient team player. A methodical approach to decision-making, robust planning, and organizational skills are crucial. You should exude a friendly, down-to-earth demeanor, a genuine interest in animal welfare, and an enjoyment for the diverse interactions with clients and colleagues.
