We have an exciting opportunity for a
Project Managerto join our amazing team. This role can be
Homebased or based in
Gilwell Park with Hybrid working.

Contract Type:
Full time (35 hours per week)


Term: 1x Fixed Term until September 2024 & 1x Fixed Term until March 2025


Salary:
£42,761 per annum - Band F Level 3, inclusive outer London weighting and Market Supplement (Hybrid Based) or £41,001 per annum, Band F and Market Supplement (Homebased)

The Project Manager role:


As a
Project Manager,you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to young people as they develop skills for life.

You will identify and manage key risks and issues whilst escalating those which are critical to key governanceboards.

You will tactfully work with a diverse range of stakeholders including volunteers and staff to ensure the project is delivered successfully.


Key responsibilities as our Project Manager:

  • Lead and facilitate the scoping, design, and delivery of projects
  • Agree project objectives, benefits, and plans for delivering these with your project stakeholders
  • Define project tasks and manage resource requirements accordingly
  • Lead on the creation, ownership, and maintenance of project documentation
  • Develop and manage project schedules and progress updates
  • Develop other required project documentation such as RAID logs and finance sheets
  • Secure adequate resource allocation for programmes and projects from line managers
  • Support Senior Responsible Owners and Sponsors with governance of programmes and projects
  • Manage programme and project budgets

What we are looking for in our Project Manager:

  • Able to make decisions independently and engage others in decision making processes
  • Ability to take the initiative, be assertive, persuasive and to motivate and inspire a range of audiences
  • Ability to deliver quality work in a fastpaced environment, with the ability to balance emerging & tight timelines
  • Ability to problem solve proactively and demonstrate critical thinking
  • Ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional and multidisciplinary environment, as part of a team, which includes volunteers and senior stakeholders
