    Our client is a growing Sustainability consultancy with an international track record. They are recognised for their emphasis on developing innovative and sustainable solutions that address global challenges. Their team, spread across multiple countries, is dedicated to creating an impact on a global scale and working with high profile business leaders to drive a progressive, sustainable strategic agenda which also impacts the commerciality of their clients.

    Job Description

    The role requires/involves:

  • Responsibility for sale and delivery of engagements advising on strategic sustainability topics
  • Leadership of 2-3 project teams at any time, mapping comfortably to client's Project Sponsor (typically CEO, CEO-1 at blue chip firms)
  • Manage and deepen relationships with key clients.
  • Drive business development activities, including identifying new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and developments in Sustainability
  • Generate thought leadership and be recognised within this field The Successful Applicant

    The successful candidate will come with:

  • Client facing consulting experience, including experience successfully selling and leading strategy engagements
  • Commercial Track record: comfortable with business development - holds several significant relationships; excited by challenge of selling a challenger brand
  • Knowledge and credibility in sustainability: in particular the following industries will be of significant interest: sustainable finance, renewables, energy transition/decarbonisation, FMCG and Financial Services.
  • A strong educational background in a relevant field.
  • Likely you will come with circa 10-15 years experience in this field and will have reached Director level equivalent roles in traditional consulting firms
