    Your new companyContributing to a significant amount of the UK's highways services, this company specialises in providing highways maintenance and management services to both public and private sector clients.

    In addition to highways maintenance, they cover network management, emergency response services, and traffic management.

    They have a strong focus on safety, sustainability and innovation, which enables them to deliver services and large-scale, complex projects in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

    Your new roleAs a Senior Highways Engineer you will be joining a large and continually growing highways maintenance joint venture looking to expand their London team.

    You will be engaged in the development of safe and well-maintained roads, with a vision of reducing road danger and congestion to help London become one of the best cities for walking and cycling.

    The Senior Highways Engineer will lead the design and implementation of schemes including the planning, programming, commercial, you will also be tasked with:
    Production, review and submission of design for Schemes on the Contract.
    Support the delivery of the annual schemes budget and ensure monthly commercial results are presented and assessed.

    About youThis role would best suit a highly experienced and technically proficient civil engineer with a strong background in highway engineering.

    The ideal candidate will haveDegree qualified Civil Engineer with membership or currently working towards chartershipExperience in the design of highway improvement and maintenance schemes to UK standardsKnowledge of NEC 3 ContractsBe a strong user of computer aided design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MX.Have a good understanding of the transport issues affecting London's road network and of the management and operation of a road network.
