I'm currently working exclusively with a global carrier on the appointment of a Global Head of Portfolio Oversight for Specialty Risks. Specialty Risks is a core part of our client's business and is written globally, including a significant share on their Lloyd's platform.

The Global Head of Portfolio Oversight will take on a strategic role within Specialty Lines with core responsibilities including:

Ensuring consistent quality of underwriting is maintained across all entities
Implementation of underwriting strategies and guidelines, ensuring global alignment across the global specialty lines portfolio
Identifying and reporting on industry trends and emerging risks
Providing thought leadership on specialty lines topics
Management of Specialty Lines underwriting roundtable
Portfolio performance management
Engagement with a variety of stakeholders across the business including product leads, Group CUO's, Pricing, Ceded Re, Wordings, etc

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the global oversight of a large portfolio for a well recognised and respected carrier. We're therefore looking for individuals with a solid track record in influencing senior stakeholders in a portfolio level role, with previous experience within specialty lines.
